About Me

Nolitethoughts came into existence in order to get over my writer’s block.

I wrote stories since I am able to write and I found immense joy and satisfaction in creating. My classmates, my teachers and even their children were reading my little short stories and it made me truly whole as a person. It made me feel like I have a purpose in life and I was in love with that sentimentalism.

Then something happened around my late teen years and I couldn’t write anymore the same way as I did. I struggle a lot every day to get back to writing because the flame, the spark of it is still there but I just can’t seem to be able to overcome this invisible obstacle.

So I decided to write about books and share my thoughts and my creations on this website and maybe, maybe I will be able to get through this and write again.

My name is Éva Újhelyi and I live in the breathtaking Highlands, Scotland. I have a BSc in Astronomy and Planetary Science and a director of my own little company with my partner. Apart from reading and collecting books, I’m a language enthusiast; I learn languages because they fascinate me and I love how my brain gets re-wired every time I learn a new one. I also love music, I always wanted to have a record player and start to collect vinyl and I would love to learn properly to play on a guitar and on a piano.
